    SaaS Platform & AI Automation

BuilderLync: An AI-Powered Operating System for Roofing Contractors

    Client:
    BuilderLync (Jacksonville, Florida)
    Timeline:
    Launched June 2026

We built BuilderLync, an all-in-one platform that replaces the patchwork of tools roofing contractors use with a single system: CRM, satellite-measured estimates, proposals with e-signature, scheduling, invoicing and Sierra, an AI agent that follows up on every lead by text, email and phone.

    Key results

    • Generally available to US contractors since June 1, 2026
    • AI lead follow-up in under 60 seconds by text, email or voice, 24/7
    • Satellite-measured estimates and branded proposals in under 5 minutes
    • 8 native integrations, including QuickBooks, EagleView, ABC Supply and SRS

    Executive summary

BuilderLync is an AI-powered operating system for residential contractors, built first for roofing companies and also used by siding, gutter, solar and remodeling teams. Founded in 2024 by a team that includes roofing company operators, and headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, BuilderLync launched to general availability on June 1, 2026.

Algoseed Labs built the platform: a single web application that takes a job from the first phone call to the final payment, with an AI agent that answers and follows up with every lead, estimates generated from satellite roof measurements, and native integrations with the suppliers and tools contractors already rely on.

    The challenge

Roofing is a fast, competitive, weather-driven business, and most contractors run it on disconnected tools. According to BuilderLync's own research, the average contractor juggles 8 or more separate tools every day, and 67% of new leads never receive a single follow-up. One app produces quotes, another covers photos, the CRM doesn't talk to scheduling, and invoices are typed into accounting by hand.

The founding team knew these problems first-hand from running a roofing company. Their requirements for the product were clear:

    • Speed to lead. The first contractor to respond usually wins the job, so every call, form and referral had to get a reply in seconds, at any hour.
    • Estimates from the truck. A salesperson should be able to produce an accurate, branded proposal on site without climbing the roof or re-typing measurements.
    • One record per job. Lead, estimate, schedule, crew, invoice and payment had to live together, visible to the office and the field.
    • No per-seat pricing. Contractors add crews and sales reps seasonally, so the platform had to support unlimited users on every plan.
    • Works on any device. Owners, office staff and crews needed the full product on desktop, tablet and phone, without installing anything.

    The solution: one connected workflow

BuilderLync organizes the whole business around four steps: capture leads, estimate and propose, schedule and dispatch, invoice and get paid. Every step writes to the same job record, so the dashboard always reflects what is really happening.

    1. Smart dashboard and CRM pipeline

The command center shows leads, jobs, revenue and crew activity in real time. Every lead source flows into a single pipeline with stage tracking, board and list views, revenue forecasting, job profitability, crew utilization and custom KPI widgets with drill-down reports. ROI is tracked per lead source, so owners can see which marketing channels actually produce signed jobs.

    2. Sierra AI: follow-up in under 60 seconds

Sierra is BuilderLync's AI agent. It responds to new inquiries in under 60 seconds, by text, email or voicemail, with messages tailored to the lead source. It qualifies leads, books appointments, answers common homeowner questions about pricing, availability and services, runs automated drip sequences for long-term nurture, and alerts the team in real time when a lead engages.

On the Pro plan, Sierra also includes a voice agent that answers calls like a team member, plus AI proposal drafting. The agent's behaviour is configurable per company, and conversations hand off seamlessly to a person when needed.

    3. Estimates and proposals from satellite measurements

Through a native EagleView integration, a salesperson enters an address and pulls satellite roof measurements straight into the estimate. BuilderLync auto-generates itemized material lists and pricing, offers Good/Better/Best options, and produces a branded proposal that the homeowner can sign and pay a deposit on in one flow. BuilderLync states that a full estimate takes under 5 minutes.

    4. Scheduling and dispatch

A drag-and-drop calendar handles inspections, crew jobs and follow-ups, with two-way Google Calendar sync, automated SMS appointment reminders, crew availability and assignment, route optimization for field teams, and weather-aware planning using NOAA data.

    5. Invoicing and payments

One-click invoicing turns a completed job into a bill, customers pay online, and invoices, payments and customer data sync with QuickBooks, so every dollar can be traced from estimate to deposit without double entry.

    6. Native integrations

Rather than relying on third-party middleware, BuilderLync connects directly to the tools contractors already use:

    • EagleView: satellite roof measurements and aerial imagery delivered into proposals
    • ABC Supply and SRS Distribution: material ordering, pricing and delivery tracking inside the platform
    • QXO / Beacon: roofing supply catalogs, pricing and ordering
    • Twilio: built-in SMS and voice for follow-ups, reminders and customer communication
    • NOAA Weather: real-time weather and storm tracking for outreach and scheduling
    • Google Workspace: two-way calendar sync, Gmail and contacts
    • QuickBooks: invoices, payments and customer data

    7. Storm intelligence, canvassing and AI access

The Pro plan adds Storm Intelligence, which uses weather and storm data to target proactive outreach after severe weather, and canvassing tools for door-to-door teams. BuilderLync also offers MCP (Model Context Protocol) access, so a company's own AI assistants can work with its BuilderLync data, such as contacts, jobs, appointments, proposals and measurements, through a standard interface.

Product decisions that shaped the build

    • Web-first, every device. BuilderLync runs in the browser and is optimized for desktop, tablet and phone, so crews get the full CRM, estimating and job record in the field with nothing to install.
    • Unlimited users. No per-seat fees on any plan, which meant designing roles and permissions for teams that grow and shrink with the season.
    • Transparent usage costs. AI usage is metered with included monthly credits, and pass-through costs such as EagleView reports and Twilio messages are billed at cost.
    • Fast onboarding. CSV imports and an optional white-glove migration get most contractors live in 30 days or less on their own, or in about 14 days with BuilderLync's team.

    Results

    • Launched to general availability on June 1, 2026, with Starter and Pro plans for US contractors.
    • Speed to lead: every new inquiry gets a response in under 60 seconds, around the clock, across text, email and voice.
    • Estimates in minutes: satellite measurements, material lists and branded proposals in under 5 minutes, signed and paid in one flow.
    • One system instead of many: CRM, estimating, proposals, scheduling, invoicing, marketing automation and AI in a single platform, with 8 native integrations.

    What we brought

BuilderLync combines several of the things we do every day: custom software development for a multi-role SaaS platform, AI development for the Sierra agent and voice workflows, integration with third-party APIs and cloud infrastructure that keeps real-time data flowing between the office and the field.
